Hi, I’m Amy, the heart and hands behind Your Soulful Stills. I am a Sydney and Central Coast photographer here to capture the good stuff. The big, messy, beautiful love between families, glowing mamas-to-be, squishy in-home newborn moments, and the deep connection between couples who adore each other.

When I am up the coast, I am usually by the water with the sun on my skin and my camera in hand, chasing that soft golden light. The beach is where I feel most at home, and it always brings out the best in my sessions. In Sydney, I spend my time around the northwest and western suburbs, always searching for the moments that feel real.

I am not about stiff smiles or picture-perfect poses. I am about the real thing. Wind in your hair. Belly laughs. Sandy toes. Kids being kids. These days move so quickly and you deserve proof of how deeply you were loved and how wildly you loved in return.

My love for photography started when I was about ten or twelve. I have always been hands-on and curious, and I loved finding new ways to create. When my dad brought home his first DSLR, I picked it up and never really put it down. I spent hours walking around, figuring out how it worked and noticing things others might overlook. There were times I stepped away from it, but in late 2023 I decided to give it my all, and I have not looked back since.

When I am not behind the lens, you will find me in my other happy place, wrangling the cheeky and hilarious chaos of a room full of four and five year olds in my full-time preschool teacher role. It has given me endless patience, a quick sense of humour, and the gift of turning wild moments into joy. This is why my sessions with kids and families feel easy, relaxed, and natural. I meet little ones exactly where they are, keeping things light and fun so everyone can just breathe and be.
